What are the Smart Print solutions?
There are four basic Smart Print solutions that address almost every printing need in the market today:
- Print Vending Services – through public print cloud technologies, an end user can submit and pay for their print jobs to any Smart Print device via the Public Print Cloud
- Print Photo Services – much like the Smart Print Print Vending Services solution, end users can pay for and print their photographs via the Public Print Cloud
- Print Management Services – Smart Print can help any small or medium sized office gain control of their print spend by implementing Print Management Services and eliminating the need to own and administer printers, print servers, and consumables (toners, maintenance kits, etc.)
- Print Production Services – Smart Print can help any Commercial or “quick print” copying service capture additional revenue by providing a document transport system via the print cloud that will drive volume to their production centers and increase the number of their customers.
What drives the Smart Print solutions?
Smart Print is a document transport system allowing documents to be electronically sent from any remote location to any Smart Print printer in the Smart Print global network via “print cloud” technologies.

How does the patron use the Smart Print solutions?
- One time driver load
Patron down loads the Smart Print universal driver onto their computer via www.ezprint.us.com OR from the CD’s Smart Print will provide.
They then set up an Smart Print account online using their credit / debit card through an SSL connection.
It’s that SIMPLE! Nothing more required to set up an Smart Print account!
To print, it’s as easy as clicking “File -> Print”! - Then, each time the patron visits your establishment, when they want to print, they just logon to your WiFi network, choose the document they want to print, just click “File -> Print”, choose the Smart Print driver and your establishment, click “Print” and the job is automatically sent to the printer in your establishment.
That’s all there is – IT’S LITERALLY THAT SIMPLE!
How does the Smart Print solution work?
Our solutions are based on “public” and “private print cloud” technologies. For Print Vending Services, once a patron sends a file for printing, it is sent via the secure “public print cloud” to the Smart Print server for processing – funds are verified on the patron’s account, the print file is rastorized and sent back to the printer for printing. If there are not enough funds in the patron’s account, the Smart Print system will ask them to deposit more funds or abort the job BEFORE it is printed.
Customer satisfaction is a top priority for us and we have taken every measure to insure this is an easy to use printing solution from beginning to end!
What’s required to make it work?
- A WiFi hotspot or any high speed connection to the internet
- An Smart Print printer
- A very limited amount of administrative support to add toner and paper as required.
How does the revenue flow?
- Money is withdrawn from each patron’s Smart Print account as files are printed.
- We reconcile daily with the money collected and the jobs printed to insure everything is in balance.
- At the end of each month, a check is sent to the establishment for their share of the revenue. We share the profits with you!

What about support?
- Smart Print’s solutions are turn key solutions that utilize state-of-the-art print cloud technologies that allow us to see every printer that is installed via a web interface. Smart Print will continually monitor each printer to determine supply levels, paper levels, maintenance issues, etc.
- This proactive support is unparalleled in the market today – we will be able to diagnose a problem even before the patron realizes there is one.
- Our fully staffed support center will then take the initiative to resolve the issue by either trouble shooting online or dispatching a technician for service. We will even replenish supplies before the printer ever runs out.
